Pursue the shining relic of an

Marvelous weight crush you
Into oblivion far beyond human
Senses.
In hands, It's shine will light the dark
Corridors. In mind, it'll wreck logic
With Greed. An engrossed power.
In strength, it's unsurpassed. In wit
It'll destroy even the wisest man's
Dreams. Replace logic and reason
With haste and impulse.
Be careful, be alert. The shine is of
The most precious jewels. Alas,
For the soul purpose of complete
Destruction. Mind, body and soul.
Let the artifact in. It's rage will devour
What remains.

This one of mankind's weaknesses. The taste of power washing over themselves, if not eternal. They desire it momentarily.
But what a man isn't supposed to touch, is what you aren't EVER to touch Period. If it's locked away, or out of our grasp, It's usually because of a good reason. Power, can be in all forms, and not all are friendly.
Power, in short, can wreck lives. Can warp your senses, and can be lead to cataclysmic events. Such as this artifact I write about. power is a form of destruction. When used unwisely, it is vitally lethal.
