Tragedy

Splash around my fallen tears,
Freshly streaked from my cheeks,
Silver and sleek. Pale and meek.

Silver like a blade's insensitive edge.
As cold as granite stone.
Inside I am slowing approaching the ledge.
Where I can finally love being alone.

Pale opals encased in icy blues.
Numb scales contain my veins.
I'm happy knowing I'll loose.
What it is you will never choose.

You will always look me in the eye.
Just to speak of an insolent lie.
Of Like and Love.
It's a mystery you can't solve.

A tragedy in black and gray.
Ringing the tears from your sleeves.
You stare at me and make your leave.
Stern like an ocean.
walk away with no emotion.

You've splashed around my fallen tears.
You've stolen my heart, destroyed my veins.
A shunned carcass as it loosely hangs.
I ask of the sun to erase me in the coming days.
